Nuremberg cup and cover

Silver gilt cup and cover. Marked on the body and foot . The body is marked with the town mark of Nuremberg and the makers mark of Hans Bertolt who became master in 1601and worked till 1645. The foot is marked with makers mark only.

The cup is in three pieces, the foot and the body are held together with the central stem. The cup has the original fire gilding.
