Italian Grand Tour ca 1870 gold bangle with micro mosaic. In later fitted box. Hall marked with the Vatican hallmark.The famous Vatican work shops produced many of the religiously themed mosaics. The bezel is with the Lamb of God. The white doves in the back of the bangle are a reference to the Old Testament story of Noa's Ark, when the dove returned Noa knew the waters have abated.
